Smithsonian's 11th Annual Photo Contest
Story: This spectacular blue macaw started to act silly and I managed to capture a glimpse of his crazy antics on a late afternoon. The light hit the feathers at the right angle revealing vibrant colors and amazing textures. I like to think that he was making fun of me! The shot has been taken at Domaine Maizerets in Québec city, Canada.
